Hi,

I've been searching around for a coldfusion links directory but so far unable to find a free/good directory made in coldfusion.

Because of this I'm busy designing my own version. So far I'm slinging it together for a travel website.

I'm also creating a admin side to this in order to check the links before making them live. The admin side is password protected (whole admin directory), once in you will be able to view new links added in the specific categories and either enable or delete the submission.

To accept a submission I created a field "accepted" if this is NO the link is not displayed, if yes then the link is displayed in the main folder.

I'm wondering if anyone here which good knowledge of CF would be willing to help in getting this up and running, if yes then we can either use it for our selfs or look at selling it on.

If no one is interested in helping but would like a copy once finished then drop me a line.

Cheers

JP

We don't have the resources to help with the build of it but if the end result is clean and simple, we might be a buyer when you're done. Keep us updated on the progress.

I have created 5 directories in CF. www.ffid.net (http://www.ffid.net) is doing quite well from a SE and revenue angle.

My code is not clean enough to package and distribute, I'll be the first to admit. However, I can offer you advice on how to handle certain aspects of approval, upkeep, and design.

Please keep me advised as to your cfm directory projects. We are working on a php directory here: http://www.gtr14.com that we got from http://www.indexscript.com - we have done may items to the script like spacing, url rewrite and more. We have many many page ranked sites and need a turnkey script for each one.

I know I started this thread but I still never got around to doing it :)

I got side tracked and ended up doing a real estate script/website for a company.

I will get around to doing a SE friendly one.. one day :)
