View Full Version : What software to track stats on your site

I just moved servers last week. My old server used an older version of cPanel that came with Awstats. I found the information in Awstats to be great - very easy to check unique visitors, pageviews, etc. My new host has a newer version of cPanel and it no longer has Awstats. What is everyone using to track their web stats? I'm not adverse to purchasing a package if it's worthwhile, but don't have a lot of $$ for it. I'd rather spend money on driving the traffic.

Thanks.
Chris

Hosting deal comes with Webalizer but I use Statcounter.com for an easy to see overview of all my sites.

Statcounter is free and the good thing about it is that you can track all your sites (or projects as they call it) using just one account.

I use Awstats quite heavily (45 sites). Awstats gives me 90% of what I'm looking for. Once I can justify the cost though I will probably pay for Urchin.

Thanks for the tip on Statcounter. I installed today it's great. Now, I'm debating on their "upgrade". The info is tremendous.

I use Urchin.. it's pretty cool... although still mainly waiting for version 6 as software (vs. service).
