I can access the following URL without problems from my home computer:
But when I tried from a networked computer (windows 2000, IE 6.0 ) I get an error message (file not found) or something like that (error 104?).
When I type this URL in my browser at home, it redirects me to the second part of the URL : http://hotjobs.yahoo.....
Now, this URL seems to be like two URLs in one. I don't understand how that works. I could understand it if the second part (http://hotjobs... ) was passed as a parameter, but if I am not mistaken that's not the case.
I'll appreciate any help as to how this complex URL works and what might be the reason it doesn't work from some computers (inability to re-direct?)

I get a 403 forbidden error, maybe you have a cookie on your home computer that allows you in?

Thanks for your response exam,
I also get "Forbidden" when I type it at the address bar. I was originally going there from the link I get in my email from the yahoo hotjobs job agent.
I'll do a little more testing and post the results. Any hint as to how a "composite" URL like this works? I was looking in an HTTP book for the format of URLs and this one doesn't seem to comply with the standard format.

OK, I made a little typo. The correct URL is:
(the last character is "I" and not "1")
I am going to try today from other computers to see what happens.

If any of you guys is knowledgeable about URL's and HTTP, I'll appreciate your helping me understand how the above URL is supposed to work. What does the asterisk mean there? Is it a wild card or something else? Is a redirection being done?
