Please review my new site

I just started a new tutorial web site, The url is http://www.tutorialdome.com i plan on getting a load of unique content made up for it really soon.

Please could you give me your opinions on the design its self.

There are a few errors but they don't stand out too badly.

personally i think that site itself is a bit too thin - I am on a 20" monitor so that could be it, but it makes the text harder to read

I got a 19" wide screen, And i didn't think it looked too thin, But i could add a thir column with some more contnet if nessicery, I shall increse the size of the text later as a few other people have commented on its size :p

Colors are ok, but there is a CSS problem in Firefox ... The friends menu doesn't fit.

I don't like thin content areas like that but that's just my personal opinion, I would never use a site with that kind of layout, there is so much 'void'. Also I think you could work on your google ad placement a bit better. To keep people coming back you would want to create an impression of "more tutorials to come!" but here the google ads are center stage in the most important real estate part of your website. That's entirely up to you but it would be better to target the google ads on the deeper pages in the site I feel.

Your site looks good and for me the color combination is ok. But I have to agree that it's a bit too thin. Much better if you will increase the width.

Your site has got nice and relevant colors but still yo have got some div and other html problems. i think you should solve this problems fastly. ;)

Nice site. Wise content!!! I hope you will definitely hit the nail on the head... (I am taking about google). You will get good number of clicks with this position of ad placement.
