:)
I did this because I was curious. I took the descriptions from some sites that were two categories down and then googled for the phrase (making sure it was unique enough that it wouldn't be found elsewhere)
from http://dmoz.org/Kids_and_Teens/School_Time/:
"Interactive resource for students in the UK. Subjects include English, Maths and French, covering key stages and GCSEs, with revision materials, tests and lesson plans. " is found on 2,180 pages.
from http://dmoz.org/Home/Consumer_Information/:
"Offers a family of websites focused on providing consumer information and reviews for products and services from the banking, investment, telecommunications, insurance and travel industries in Australia. " is found on 1,981 pages.
how much do things change when you go much deeper than one click from the main page?
from http://dmoz.org/Games/Video_Games/Chats_and_Forums/ (two clicks from the main page):
"Have your say about the current and retro games. Covers Nintendo, Sega, Sony, NeoGeo, NEC and Atari machines. " is on 512 pages.
obviously the deeper you go, the less likely your link will show up on smaller pages, but still, 512 links is pretty impressive.
