View Full Version : Does Froogle have a Sandbox?

I've recently listed a store with Froogle. The feed has been tested and approved. Froogle sent me an e-Mail telling me that my Store would be available within 48 hours or so. A week and a half has passed. When I click on the Froogle link to view my Store, I get a page telling me it can't be found. When I do a search for my products, they aren't found either.
Does Froogle have a Sandbox like Google? Or is there something more that should do?
Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

Mine were listed the moment the feed was accepted and processed. Sounds like yours went wrong.
I got loads of #1's instantly.

When I check on the status of the store, it shows "# of items processed" and "# of items succeeded" both equal to 12 (the number I submitted).
Outcome shows "Success" and Status shows "Active".
I have confirmed that "Show this feed on Froogle" has been selected.
I have also re-submitted a feed, thinking that an update might trigger something positive.
Still my Store doesn't show up on Froogle, nor can I find any of my items listed.

I don't think Froogle can have a sandbox...seems unlikely to me :)

Sounds like there is a glitch. THey are usually very quick to respond to questions via email. If you type this into froogle.com and you don't see your items at all then there's definately a problem:
store:yourstorenamehere
That should return all items in your store that we successfully processed. If you don't submit once every 30 days the items will be removed.

froogle can't have a sandbox since its not really a search engine crawling websites. Its more like a directory since they only list products that you enter in there. first time i ented got listed in 24 hours. To be honest hasn't done me any good tho with the 100 products i got listed there.
