Hey all,
I've started using CrazyEgg to see what my visitors are doing and something very odd happened yesterday. CrazyEgg shows that my adsense ads got 7times more clicks yesterday than AdSense shows. 7 times less! WTF is going on ?
Has anyone else had a similar situation ? Should I contact Google or can I expect to receive a standard answer like "We're Google, we dont make mistakes. CrazyEgg is crazy!" ? CTR is also VERY low.

I doubt it. CrazyEgg is becoming extremely popular, I don't think that would be the case if its stats were THAT off.

No, that was definetly not the case.
The site I'm talking about is a blog running on Wordpress and before going to sleep yesterday, I activated wp-cache because the two stories made it to the front page of a popular Digg-like place. Now I wonder, could wp-cache affect adsense ? I have found a few people saying that wp-cache doesn't affect adsense. But they were talking about an earlier version.
Anyway, I have turned wp-cache off now and just have to wait a bit and see if the ctr will get better. If that will be the case at the end of the day then it was indeed wp-caches fault. Let's see what happens.

None of these click trackers are highly accurate. Some of them count mouseovers as clicks.

Hi Guys,
Hiten Shah from Crazy Egg here.
Qwest, Crazy Egg does not count mouseovers are clicks.
Kaltek, shoot me an email or fill out our contact form, we'll help you diagnose this issue to determine what is going on.
One thing that should be considered is the exact x,y location of the click, maybe many people were clicking on the "ads by Google" link or the "advertise here" link that shows up within your ads. Either way, contact us and we'll dig up more data related to your AdSense clicks to see if we can figure out what exactly the issue is.
Thanks,
Hiten
