What I've read in some article is that... IF a SITE giving me Links is banned from GOOGLE... It puts -ve points in my favour and my site ranking goes down...

IS THIS TRUE??

No, otherwise it would be too easy for other people to sabotage your rankings.

Absolutely. Every guy would be doing that to sabotage his competitors then. You cannot control people who link to you, but you can control whom you link out to :)

No way If a site is banned from Google Then all the links from the website will not be shown in Google's result

and then how could Google can penalize you for having links from the site that has been banned
