Links pointing to you will give you PR. So, inbound links are what you should be looking for :)
For every inbound, there is an outbound ;)

Outbound links support inbound links in case of backlinking...

INBOUND gives more PR and more hits

Relevant outbound links will make people come back to your site. Many people still have trouble googling their favorite subjects. I even have one links-page stumbled upon.

Additioanally, if you're ambitious enough to build a good niche hub site, you need to have many good outbound links. (however, in real life good hubs are VERY GOOD authorities, so you can't live without inbounds anyway ;))

hello friends

I'm asking "inwards links" and "outward links" not "inbound links" "outbound links"...

Can anybody explain the exact difference between them...

So if you had to chose between getting traffic in from a PR3 site, or sending traffic to a PR3 site, which would you choose?

I just got turned down for a link due to this. I offered a link from a PR3 to his site in exchange for a link to one of my new sites that isn't ranked. He said my rank was too low. I went and check the link page instead of my sites homepage rank and it was a 2! Lol It's his loss.

I think I see what you mean...

Inward links are when you link to another page on your website. Outward links are links from your site to a different website.
