I am considering getting a new domain name because I am moving my site to a new online website builder but am concerned about loosing what little page rank I have. It seems to be PR of 2 but may go up by the time google makes pr decision again. I am not making any kind of money and do not have near enough traffic. The place I am moving my site to has many tools build in you have to go all over the internet to use and they usually cost extra while they come with the new online builder I am moving to.
The problem is there is a step by step keyword analysis that us used with my new builder that leads you to the best keywords for a domain name. That sounds good but I will have to start over with pr and so on. They seem to be able to transfer a domain name but warn that is may not work out right. Having said that to seed up the page rank development process I am planning on going to at least some of the sites were I have submitted articles and change the domain name in the about the author section, use anchor text put a link or links from my old site to the new one and eventually work on directory summation. Both sites are similar in content and products but the new one will have new keywords. Will anchor text and redirecting 50 articles submitted to my new domain name and a more pyramid linking structure using anchor text to link page to page and better keywords be enough to get me to a 2 pr rank in 3 to 6 months. I am also going to make a greater to keep each page more theme based as far as content, primarily keyword and secondary keywords goes. I will start with about 5 to 10 new articles on the new site. I am planning on submitting to directories and buying links but will not have the mone y for a while. Any other ideas or thoughts would be appreciated
