How long has it taken most of you to get your PIN from google after reaching the initial $50? It has been about 2 weeks for me and no pin yet.

It is a letter google mails all new adsense publishers to verify their mailing address.

I signed up before they were introduced, so I don't know, although I do know some people who said their's took around 2 weeks so you could get yours soon, depending on where you live.

kawebspy, basically it is a number they send out to people to comfirm their adress.

EG they send out a number to henny which is 1234 then he has to log into his adsense account and enter the number 1234 to comfirm his address.

After I register for the Adsense, I receive their email telling me to wait until my application will be approved. Then the second email, informed me that my application was approved. then the following emails are merely announcement. but I haven't receive any email for mailing address verification.

This is a snail mail letter they send out to make sure the address you gave them is real.

it takes a while... i thought the last one i setup was about 2-3 weeks. I just remember it took forever

Iam in south east europe. For me it took just like for Critters - about 4 weeks. Better say a month. I was prepared to ask G for new pin, and then it was in mailbox. What I expected is not what was happened.. Just wait. It is funny piece of paper. Useless to anyone except you..

Hell my first pin never showed up after waiting for months so I reapplied and it took about 3 weeks this time.

Just got it 2 days ago.

I got mine after 17 days, so mostly it's about 3 weeks until it'll reach you.

Google say that the PIN is dispatached 5 days after it shows that PIN is delivered to you,then it takes atleast 2-4 weeks to reach HOME,in my case i got it 30 days after it showed me the PIn sent in my account!!!

Yes it was recently launched for new users for security reasons!!! Old users have got nothing to do with his PIN.

Umm Sorry to display my ignorance but what eaxctly is a Google PIN and what is it used for?
Generally, it's a number that is sent to you to vertify that all the data you've written in Your Google Adsense Account (address, payment address etc.) and of course whole Account belongs to the right and real Man, that's You ;)

One more, It's only sent out to people, who are new Users to Google Adsense, registered after January 1st, 2005.

The best part in Receivng the PIN was that i easily viewed the PIN without opening the so called SEAL that Google had taped over that piece of PAPER!!!

i was on adsense since january, no pins, money goes straight into my account, wonder why all new people have to have the pin, something must have happened.

or its just a way for them to hold onto the money for longer, think of the interest they earn on the money for all publishers if they hold it longer.
