I am running Invision Board 1.3.1 Final and google seems to have finally cached a ton of my pages with session IDs which is odd.

Anyone ever see this?

This problem happenes with phpBB also.

Try removing the sid query string in the templates by Find and Replace.

this will happen for unregistered users and bots. Good idea to find someone to do some SEO mods on the boards for you. We have done them on a few with great results, I suggest looking into it. If you are ambitious at all a google search will afford you instructions on a few ways to do it.

I have done some things, added forum map:

http://www.chiefshuddle.com/forummap.html

Site map:

http://www.chiefshuddle.com/sitemap.html

and a read only URL friendly version of the board:

http://www.chiefshuddle.com/index.html

The only problem is that even though I have ample links to these and have submitted them manually to all engines the spiders still don't seem to crawl them.

As far as the SID why would it be using that?

Is that for some sort of tracking even for anonoymous users via cookies?
