Not sure how it works but my friend has been blocked from going to a certain site. Not by the site but buy the servers he has to go through to get out to the net. They don't allow him to access the site. How can he get around that or does anyone know how to turn it off on the servers? FYI: Their not apache.
Hope that made since.

He just wants to get to that site. It's blocked for stupid reasons. ;)

Well there is no way you can unblock it if it's being blocked at the web server level. The only option you would have would be to use a proxy or IP address that is not blocked.

it connects via a proxy - so it masks where you are from and going to - thus making it difficult for your security to find where youve been... they still can if they look deep enough though.
