come on. I don't think anyone that has done such a thing would try to sell the database over such a public forum. Most probably a scam

What does that link say? I cant actually load the site here, it is getting blocked by the filtering. (I am at school.)

Quote it here, but filter out any mild or even minor sware words, all this thread wont load either.

Edit: I used a proxy. And also, look at the date 16th october 2006. Today is 17th november 2006.

There's some person claiming that they have hacked database with over 74,000 accounts at registerfly and selling it.

Never expected that from a domain registrator :o

Why not? It's happened to a couple of others in case you haven't read:

I won't be surprised if Registerfly is experiencing such as well.

Note that that they only seem to attack some registars, the decent registars are not under attack.. well not yet.

Godaddy, domansite and namecheap are yet to face this the DoS.

My bet will be that namecheap will go down the longest if they have an attack, domainsite second, and godaddy probably wont even go down, because they have several servers.

Anyone have problems with registerfly not changing over nameservers? I changed mine over WEEKS ago, and nothing yet... =\ they aren't IMPORTANT domains, hence why im not pushing them ....

Doing bulk changes never work for me..

Change them one by one and it is quick...

That's easy to say when you don't have 50 domains to change =(

I'll just email and tell them to do it, I pay for that service I shouldn't have to do it.

No registrar is foolish enough to make changes to a domain name based merely
on an email. I suggest you log inside your account and open a ticket with a very
detailed request of what you want done.

Do indicate you've tried a bulk change but it doesn't work for whatever reason.

Yes, that is what I meant, email/ticket thing :)
