They probably wont sue you but more then likely to send a a C&D if they feel that they need to.

I have no experience with Myspace but in general as long as you do something that can help their service get more popular then I doubt that they'll persue. Google lists thousands of Myspace theme sites with the name Myspace in their domain and none of them have gotten shut down (as of right now).

Either way, hav0c is correct, they will send you a C&D letter which requests that you quit using the domain (that is what Google does). Sueing costs a lot and they will stay away from it as much as they can.

Throw some pages on there, get it indexed and see what happens.

Not true. They legally have to persue in order to keep their trademark. Develope the site, but under a different name and have the URL you just bought redirect to the site with another domain.

Drigs right. I listed my website for sale (myspace resource) on ebay a while back and they had ebay pull the listing because it had the word "Myspace" in it. They can be real tools with their name, but i think you can use it as long as there are no ads on it, or any other way of making money on it. Use as a redirect like Drig said.

There are tons of sites out there with myspace in the domain. One more probably won't get noticed.

Whether there are 1 or 1000, its trademark infringment and illegal.

Yeah well to be honest, i know hardly anything about Myspace sites any way. I know there are loads i got the domain name for $30 wich i thought was pretty good. I'll just take the gamble proberly and shut it down if myspace get involved.
