For those using eBay affiliate links from CJ...

Has anyone taken out the little 1x1 image from the text link?
Does this have any effect or is it detrimental to passing your affiliate code?

It just tends to screw things up for me.....


Anyone having issues or have suggestions here?

I've been taking it out on one of my low low low volume sites -- but I have no way to tell if no one is clicking my CJ ads or if the clicks just aren't being counted.

And CJ support is <censored> <censored> <censored> <censored> <censored> <censored> <censored> <censored> <censored> <censored> <censored> <censored> <censored> <censored> <censored>.

Hmmm. I am afraid to take them out.

I guess I will leave them in unless anyone else has an experience to confirm that they dont matter or at least dont affect your sales and leads...

It's for impressions tracking. Im 90% sure its not important to make money, as you can use a text link aswell as the code.

If you use eBay's tools (http://affiliates.ebay.com/tools/) on their site they don't include a tracking image, so you should be fine without it.

They are fine without the image... you just won't have impression data in your CJ account for the links.
