Google sitemaps account glitch?

I submitted my sitemap yesterday and it was downloaded. When I logged in today, my account was empty and welcome message had hyperlink "Add your first sitemap" :confused: wtf? Does anyone has similar experience?

My bad. I submitted my sitemap in Maxthon (IE based) browser and today logged in from Firefox. It shows up in Maxthon just fine. But still.. is it really about cookies?

No, sorry. I must have been editing my post when you replied.

I missed the "logged in "part initially. It shouldn't have anything to do with cookies.

I guess that's one of the reasons it's still "Beta"...

Perhaps it actually recognizes the different browsers as different login's completely? I have to agree that Beta is supposed to be ready for general viewing, and not working fully yet...

Keep us informed Max. You are the only one I personally know that is playing with it already.

I had a thing where I submitted a new map, which it accepted and then lost. Resubmitted and it was there. It seems to have some errors when picking up the sitempas the first time. And these are teeny files I'm testing with!

Still, with all the tech and $$$ might of Google I'm confident they'll get those issues right.

It shouldn't. I apologize for the confusion about cookies. I had posted a reply (based on misreading his original post) to ask if he (she?) had deleted cookies, since the Google account requires them. But I think it's unlikely Google would be storijg the location of sitemaps in cookies on the member's local computer.

So ignore the cookies thing -- almost certainly doesn't apply here.

Looking at Mozilla's cookie manager I didnt see any cookies storing any weird data relating to sitemaps. :confused:
