How long does it take for Google to index blogspot's blog?

i setup a blog with blogspot about 6 days ago.Google rarely index my blog.Im wondering if this is normal? Coz it takes google only a short time to index my other domain.

I could not say for certain, but make sure you have an incoming link or two. What is the url of your new blog?
I would be interested in hearing back from you when it does... working on a theory.

I've never really checked, but I'm sure Google reindexs any blogs done through blogger.com on a regular basis (weekly) - my stuff starts getting keyword search referrals fairly quickly.

Hi,

I set up an experimental blog and posted to it daily. I don't link to it from anywhere manually, but used pingomatic.com for each time I added to the blog. I started it on the 10th of May, I just checked the google cache for it, and it has it from the 19th of May.

It's not a scientific experiment. But I'd say it took 9 days or less to get in there. Indexed with full description, not just the title. It hasn't deep indexed the whole site yet, mind. Just got the front page in there.

i get a fair amount of traffic,around 40+ and the blog is very new,so maybe i should wait for a while for google to index it.Yahoo have already index it.

What have you done to promote it? How have you linked to it? Perhaps you should try pinging the blog directories every time you add to it with Pingomatic (http://www.pingomatic.com/) and see what happens.

Ha! I've got a blogspot blog I've had since about 2003 that never gets spidered; has no pr, nothing. Nada. Google hates it....
I use blogspot, too. Google indexed it within 24 hrs. It has PR 5, and google sends around 250 uniques a day.
You have to work on it mate.

Just for the experience, I have to say that I have had my blog up and running for a month now, and I am still not referenced in Google... :(

What have you done to get Google's attention? Such as linking from existing sites, using a pinging service or submitting to directories?

I have two incoming links to my blog and (when I update it) I get craweled/cached every 3-4 weeks. Its been up for a year and has a PR2. Just have a couple friends link to your blog or your signature line should help. Just takes time.
