I have a site with two subdomains. On one subdomian I have a forum and on the other one a Link directory. Is their a way to track visits, key words, etc for subdomains? I would like to get the same stats as if it was a normal domain.

Add http://subdomain.domain.com to your Google Analytics account as a new site.

Do what richie has suggested and Install/copy the analytics code before the </body> tag in your subdomain index page for each subdomain.

Thanks everyone for your answers. The problem is that when I tried adding a new website profile using a subdomain it did not accept it. It worked well with statcounter but unfortunately not with Google Analytics. Have you guys actually managed to create subdomain profile using Google Analytics?

Sorry Emperor,
It seems that I was wrong, you could track subdomains within the same profile (http://www.google.com/support/analytics/bin/answer.py?answer=27268). ;)
