Something I just found by messing around with
my froogle listing. For those that have a
product name or part number when you
list the product name first it will come up
higher in the listings than if you list, say the
manufacturer first. For example, for a
D-NS707F Sony Walkman

would come up above

Sony Walkman D-NS707F

if the search term is D-NS707F.

Are you sure it isn't just sorting by the first character?

I think that any of the search-engine writers would
be embarrassed to alphabetically sort anything
these days!
