Is alexa down??

I have tried to visit alexa.com for several days now and all i get every time is page not displayed...

Anyone else having probs??

I haven't noticed any problems with Alexa and I'm on that site a few times each day.

If you are getting a 'page cannot be displayed' error for some sites when others can see them, it is possible certain files in your windows directory is corrupted.

You may need to rebuild the 'host' files. I encountered a similiar problem with Alexa a couple of month ago.

I found the folling help somewhere and this is what I did:
1. Search for 'host' & 'lmhost' files in the 'C://windows' directory
2. Rename them to 'hosts.old' & 'lmhosts.sam.old'
3. Then reboot.
4. Windows will rebuild appropriate files.

That did it. :)

Disclaimer: I'm no expert. And I cannot say it will solve your problem. If you would like to try it, do a backup first.
