I have a script that ibought off of someone and am wondering if it is legal...he got it somewhere else and didnt make it, It is also used in anothrer site i know of...would i need any permission from the people who made it to use it

Maybe the one who sold it to you, downloaded it from a warez site.

Try to contact the owner of the script, and tell him about this :)

In 99 % of cases, buyers are NOT allowed to RESELL software they bought :)

It's against laws and common sense.

You do not own the copyright to the script to use/resell it unless the original coder expressly passed resale rights to the person you bought it from or to you, if you get the feeling there is any ambiguity then its probably illegal.

Best contact the original coder and explain your situation.

it was from a turnkey site

someone got the script from a turn key site and sold them to me

are turnkeys copyrigted

turnkeys are copyrighted, and usually the licence forbids the scripts to be sold seperatly
