How long till pr 2

Ok I went from no pr to pr 1 in a week with help from this site and other seo help forums, but how long does it take to make the leap to pr2 and beyond. Any suggestions

PR updates only happen once in a while. So you will have to wait till then, its not like a ladder to climb you acctually have to wait for an update. Links is what get you PageRank if you didnt know by the way.

Like City2 said, it is only a question of time before the google toolbar gets updated, maybe you are already far beyond what would be displayed as PR2, but you will have to wait for the next update to know.

Btw. pr1 to pr2 is nothing you would have to call a leap.

Aim your linking strategy for links from other sites than forums if you are aiming for PR. And, even if you still want to have forums as your main backlink source, at least update your signature so that links include the anchor text, to benefit accordingly.

Exactly. I am usually working with established sites, but with new sites, adding to the directories at the above list should grant you at least PR4. I got PR4 for one web by adding to only about one third of the directories there, without any other link besides those directories.

Just stay work on your link popularity, Dont waste your time in checking your PR toolbar. Google updates PR once in a blue moon.. hehe
