Has anymore people then me got this mail. ? i got it a few days back.
I has never got mail like this before, but now i have a few domains registrated with godaddy
its starts like this
It's that time of year again. ICANN (the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) annually requires that all accredited registrars (like Go Daddy(R)) ask their domain administrators/registrants to review domain name contact data, and make any changes necessary to ensure accuracy.

yes, just copy the passcode, press the link, look for the blue globe on top of page, click it and then enter the passcode

I thought it was strange that i got it, since i never has got that before from other registraters
so i wanted to ask, so it not was something fake mail or something i got

Sounds like a phishing scam attempt. What URL do you end up at after you click the link?

been talking with some friends that using godaddy too, they all has got them..
some says they got them every year..
some do what the mails says, some not..

It's asking if the ownership info you list is real and if not to update it. If you are happy with your ownership info for your sites, ignore the email. If you have fake info, this is prodding you to make it real.

I get them all the time and ignore them. As long as you know you have a valid e-mail contact on your domains, you don't have anything to worry about. E-mail is the only important contact point since it is used for transferring, etc.

The link in the email takes you to the GoDaddy website. If you go directly to the GoDaddy website you notice the icon at the top "ICANN Domain Confirmation Page". They just want to make sure people have their contact information correct. It is illegal to have false information.

Yup, usual email to expect from any registrar you use. You can always call 'em
if you want to verify.

It's good to reminds that I have several domains that I owned it :p
