Hey guys,

So I have joined AzoogleAds just few days ago. I wanted to ask you again your experiences on placement of ads, banner or text link.

I think that text links are not good IMO. Also, many companies provide very professional looking banners, so I tend to grab those, but what's your opinion?

As for placement, it depends on the site structure, etc, but just anywhere visible is fine - so I think. What would you say?

I would recommend focusing on trying to target products to users/content. People like to see relevant ads to what they are reading on your side. General ROS (run of site) banners, no matter how pretty they look, do not perform/convert well. Targeted ads convert.

Target your ads ... but in general text usually works better than banners i always try both and ditch the lesser performing of the two.

Really? I didn't think text ads were that good. They were rather small texts and very short phrase with no visual effect.

As for targetting, I agree with that. If the ads are way off topic, people won't click those things.

Yes really.... there is nothing stoping you from adding text before or after the link :)
