Just wondering about when using some of Azoogle's campaigns and using Adwords or MSN Adcenter.

Is it better converting for you linking to a landing page on your domain or does directly linking to the offer converts better (Assuming you can link directly to the offer as no popups and not prohibited by the advertiser)?

I see mixed results and are not sure if I should concentrate on building better landing pages or use what the advertiser has and risk not always having my ads seen due to the domain name competition on Adwords (as an example).

Conversions are generally higher with a "pre-sell" page. Plus, it's getting tougher to use just the affiliate page as Google will usually jack your keyword bids to $5 and $10 a piece.

Domain name competition?
Your competing with other affiliates or the domain owner for your listing as only one ad with the same domain name is shown on any given page.

This is true and why you should use your own domain as then no one else is using and dont have to worry bout competition.

What programs do you find best for doing this? Currently, I have an azoogle campaign going with multiple landing pages, im getting alot of impressions(1000+ in 2 days) but no clicks.

My Azoogle rep suggested MSN adCenter, she said its less competitive, and easier to get higher rankings without spending as much.

Is that true? Is there good conversion with MSN adCenter?

I had to wait 2 days for my last ad to be approved. But I guess I am not even close to push your volume. ;) That might make a difference. lol

Thanks Shoe,

Just wish I hadnt waited on the $50 promo that I saw on your site, its expired now....

Alright, well I think im gonna pull back some from adwords for now and see if focusing more on adCenter gives me some traffic.

I'm not sure if budget has anything to do with approval speed, but I did notice that once my budget passed 15k/mo my ads started going through really quickly .
