So I'm seeing all this azoogle love out there.

Thought I'd be the anti-zoogle to even it out. Don't get me wrong I'm sure they are fine, yes I beleive all you azoogle fans, but I applied to them like 3/4 weeks ago, they took 5 or 6 days to review my app, then they said they were "TEMPORARILY" not accepting my app because my domain was registered anonymously - I need to provide proof of ownership. I was like, well that's fine I can understand that so I emailed back with some options of showing ownership and I haven't heard a word in weeks.

Now I'm sure I could call them, email them again.. etc.. but I really don't care enough to bother. All I know is they aren't trying that hard at getting me as a partner - now if my name was shoemoney I'm sure that'd be different.. :). Just thought I'd share abit of the other side.

Took them almost a month to get me up and running... so I definitely understand. I'm not sure why it takes them so long, but I will say some of the other Coregistration companies I signed up with took about as long. I guess they're all just really really slow for whatever reason.

And I applaude Azoogle for being selective. Once you're ever approved, you will see why they're #1. If everyone and their uncle were able to sign on, then it would dilute the quality for both publishers and advertisers.

I lost count how many times I've seen people tell you on this very forum to call them. It's like people get behind a keyboard and become afraid to use the phone anymore.

A simple search of this and pretty much every other forum I visit that mentions Azoogle could have saved you weeks of waiting IMHO.

I agree CALL them if you have any issues.. plus if for some reason you are fed up with them there are other great affiliate programs out there also (Maxbounty, CPE, Hyrda etc..)

So you want us to feel bad about azoogle because they actually take time to properly screen other applicants?

Sorry, but that just makes them better in my book, not worse.

For anyone who wants to expedite their process, have a real regular website registered in your name, and the process goes very smoothly.

I am glad they don't just accept any yokel who signs up. It creates a better environment for everyone involved.

Read before you get on your fanboy pedestal aeiouy. If you re-read my post you'll note that I emailed a response about an anonymous domain registration issue with no response for weeks now. As for feeling sorry for me? I could care less about sympathy. I'm providing the other side of the story to all the "woohoo azoogle!".

To the rest of you, yes I know I can call - you miss the point of my post - the response time is quite slack to an applicant that has already been in conversation with them even. (CALL THEM right? No, it's an online company, dealing with online issues - read your email - I could call them, but it's the principal of the matter.)

And, to AlexAzoogle - a lot of diligence? If not responding to a webmasters offer to provide evidence of ownership of a website that he applied with is diligence - then I guess you got me. :rolleyes:

In any case, if you'll notice I said I really don't care back there? It's true, I don't. I'm just stating my experience with them thus far - don't blow it out of proportion.

Actually I think you're the one blowing it out of proportion.

The purpose of my post was that you could have saved weeks of waiting by calling them. Nothing more nothing less. Don't read into it.

Fact is had you read on these forums where everyone says to call them to expedite your application and actually done so you wouldn't have waited a week. Whether you agree you should "have to" call them or not is your own personal issue. Fact is had you called them you wouldn't have had to wait.

That is all.

I wasnt going to post on this... but if you read my blog you will see I have been probably one of the toughest critics of some of azoogles stuff.

They have grown so much even since I started with them. I just hope you post back if/when you get accepted.

tried to get an azoogle account a while ago (2-3 months?), but never got any reply. have no idea what the reason is, because all other publisher programms i tried had no problem with my site...

omg SAME.

back and forth...they want more proof that I own the domain...give them some proof...they want more again!

never seen a company so touchy about the domain issue...who would submit a domain they don't own anyway?

I wish I could give you some of the countless examples of fraudster publishers that we caught on AzoogleAds and the one constant between most of them - applications with sites they did not truly own, just so that the SITE LOOKS good and gets in, and then the trouble starts.

Yeah I do read your blog and realize you don't pull any punches about stating your mind if you've got a problem with a company.

I do plan on posting back here if I ever get a response, but posting the url here would probably just get my application expedited faster than normal with all this attention. I'll pm it to you.

So you sent them one e-mail and never followed up in any other way.

While I don't agree it should work that way, the reality is, it shows that you were not all that serious to begin with, and so it probably doesn't really matter.

I have the same issue with another Affiliate network. Been waiting for approval for weeks now, but I don't really care. I am utilizing too many networks as it is, so I don't really care. I could send them a letter or call them, if I wanted to actually pursue it. I don't care.

You don't care either it seems. And that is fine. The only difference between you and me is you felt the need to make a post about it. Whatever floats your boat. Something tells me you could have taken that exact same energy in writing the original post here, to send a follow-up e-mail to Azoogle.

I applied in the middle of the night. I called them first thing the next morning and they approved me while I was on the phone with some nice lady.

I wanted to get approved though.

Azoogle is not like striking gold, but approval was not a problem.

I agree that was a total hassle, but hey, it allows only serious, legit applicants to filter through.

I think this is great actually. It keeps a very clean and honest publisher base. I went thru it and so did everyone else. I don't think it is excessive. If you have nothing to hide it is small price to pay for high payouts and great support.
