If anyone is running a Movable Type blog, I have a new project that is not public yet that people might be interested in. Right now, I need a couple Movable Type blog owners for testing.

So... if that's you, let me know... and I'll give you some details.

Also, if you don't have one yet- go get one by viewing googles ads ;) lol

Okay, updated the title to reflect that I'm *also* looking for Blogger blog owners now too. :)

Although I'm looking for specific Blogger owners...

Must publish via FTP/SFTP (rather than xxx.blogspot.com)
Web server that hosts it should be running Apache and PHP

If you meet those requirements for Blogger (they don't apply to Movable Type), let me know.

It's real easy, Just input the criteria that you use to log into your FTP account.
Saying that though, I tried to set it up on one account and it just wouldn't work.

On another it worked fine first time...

???

I've been trying to set up a MT blog but it won't connect to the database - any ideas?

Path seems good but says I've got a password problem - but I don't!!

The publish via FTP (actually SFTP in my case) worked fine for me when I was testing stuff.

Never tried running MT with the database option though, I set one up as a test without the db.

I did it and got it to work. I kept getting some atom.xml error so i just got rid of RSS feeds and that fixed my issue. :p So now I'm in. Or at least i think so. Not sure what my site is hosted on.

You are running Apache with PHP 4.3.7, so you would qualify. :)

I'll PM you what it's all about...

Think I might do that - seems sensible :)

Another option would be mambo. I am just starting to play with it as an option, but some of the modules are unreal. I will keep you informed when we go live.

But it's so close to the top... I guess one of these days I'll learn to read the starting date of threads. Just that those letters aren't the biggest or boldest...This is months old, If I remember rightly, this was the test for the xml title thing from blogs.
