I like the design. That being said, you should break site into sections such as web design articles would be name of one page. On this page post articles

overall I like the design. It might be a bit dark for some. Also the text should be one size larger especially if you are using that dark of a background to give it better readability and contrast.

um, i like the menu? oh i also like the favicon, i like when logos make good favicons, good for identity. i also like how the flash movie isnt forced on me, i can choose to view it or not.

Change that blue box in a little softer blue color
It hurst the eyes because all the rest of the site is more on the darker side :)

Bad Design???

How can you ask that question ...It's one of the best looking websites I've seen in a while...

And by the way you sound worried, don't your site's wonderful(yes there are some improvements that can be done ..but it's still great)
