Can I change the CJ affliate link text?

Hi I'm new to CJ.

Is it okay to change the url text?

eg. the copy&paste html is

<a href="kkljf">A great promotion product from XXX.com</a>

and I just put it

<a href="kkljf">XXX.com</a>

No, the link is own by the advertiser. You don't have permision to change it. It suck, but that's the way it is

I change all my CJ links. It depends on the terms of each merchant.

Try emailing the merchant and CJ to show them the links you want to use. In most cases they will be fine.

Really? what about the keyword link that doesn't come with any text?

Surely, I can use that link anyway I want.

Eg. put in my signature. There's no Get HTML for forum signatures.

Asking these questions on a forum isn't really going to help you. If everybody says what you are doing is OK and then you lose all your CJ commission you can't really go to CJ and say "Some guys on a forum said it would be OK."
