I agree with City2
I would never pay for a .org unless it was a really great one (google.org?)

The old rules (guidelines) no longer really apply, and in many circumstances a .org is just as good as a .com.
As to 'it's not worth developing' - rubbish. As far as serps are concerned, a correctly developed .org with perform just as well as a .com.
To answer your specific question, imho the vast majority of domain names has little or no intrinsic resale value. Drive traffic to the domain and the you can resell it.
Should come in useful for Spanish people searching for Bony. ;)
Maybe develop a Spannish language site to target what could be a large audience!

I wouldn't say that .org domains are not worth registering/developing, but the .com TLD in most cases is worth way way more than .org. Oseo.com might well have been worth something for use as a SEO or similar website, but IMHO I would place very little value on oseo.org as an undeveloped site.

Oh well than, guess I'll just leave it parked on sedo for now and see if I get any offers.
Or maybe I will run some text through a English to Spanish generator about bony people :p. Start up my first Spanish website!

.org are fairly popular IMO. If you can develop it, you should do well :)

It's always easier to sell a developed website with traffic/users. but you never know if someone needs then domain oseo. Maybe OSEO is the acronym of some organization that you could approach about creating a website for them :D

Thats true, my problem is once I have a website with traffic/users I never want to sell it. I prefer to have the money constantly coming in then one big payment :)
Ya, I guess I will just leave it on sedo, see if any companies approach me for it.

What the hell is worng with .org ? :)
Why do you all guys hate it ? As SEO counts, is EXACTLY the same , as for ANY extension.

Thats true in terms of SEO. But not true for domain name value, .com's are pretty much always more valueable then a .org.

I for one... do not count a difference in com, org, net, etc.
Why should a visitor do ? Or why would that imply anything else than a different letter change ?

I do not mean in terms of someone thinking less of your site. But .com is the most natural extension for someone typing in a domain name. If they remember your site name and not your extension chances are they will be typing www.yoursitename.com first. I know I do anyways.
It doesnt mean other extensions arnt valueable, just not as valueable.

I dont think there is anything wrong with .org It can rank as well as anything + these days might just stand out, as they are much rarer.

CasaDeAzotea.comMaybe fryman could comment on this, but to me it doesn't make a lot of sense. azotea means rootop or flat roof (in Mexico). A house can have a roof, but would it be made of one?
