Google bombing is just the link building part SEOing taken to the extreme. We all build links. Google Bombers just build a lot of links and sometimes not necessarily for personal gain but perhaps to make some statement of sorts.

I agree it is still effective. I am not sure I believe it is right to take somebody like George Bush and google bombe him so he comes up for miserable failure. It was funny for sure at first but has got over it after all this time.:rolleyes:

Yeah googlebombing can be fun but for personal gain it takes a lot of anchor text links to be recognised for any sort of decent keywords. You also really need to get others to help you googlebomb so a 20 page post on a forum with everyone doing it should work to an extent

Google bombing is good for ranking in serps but excess in everything is bad.:)
