Just cannot install the Google Toolbar for FireFox

Hi all.

I tried a few times to update my google toolbar on firefox to the latest version but nothing would happen.

So what do I do next, i uninstall the old toolbar and say, i'll just install the latest one.

Now on google's install page, I click the download now button.

I get taken to another page where I have to click a button saying 'Agree and Install'

After doing so, I get this message saying 'Software installation is currently disabled. Click Edit Options.... to enable it and try again.'

I follow all of the instructions there and I keep getting that message 'Software installation is currently disabled..................................'

Now I'm out of a google toolbar for firefox.


Any one know how to install this thing.
