Hi,

i was about to sign up for the ebay API, but on the 2nd page of the registration it said that if I don't do something like 150 bids per month (or something along those lines) and this occurs for 2 months in a row, they will fine me $100. There are other fines for $300 and $500.

So basically, if i'm not going to be pumping some major traffic there way..i shouldn't think about ebay API for the while?

is this true?

the API gives you more control of the output, you can search items and retrieve item details etc.
