Which affiliate programs are most attractive for you?

Affiliate commission varies greatly from one program to another. Greatest commissions are usually offered by so called "higher risk" merchants - in pharmacy, gambling and adult industries. Here commission rate usually equals 20-25%, in some cases and on individual basis reaching even fantastic 35-40% for some of the most "advanced" partners.
In my opinion, what is good about pharmacy is that it can be promoted at absolutely any website, with any content - maybe, not specifically related to healthcare. And unlike porn or gambling - this will not spoil your reputation, because pharmacy is considered reputable business.
And what's your opinion? What type of affiliate programs you join? What are main PROs and CONTRAs?

whats the "risk" in pharms and gambling?

porn is quite different nowdays.. it used to be easy in the early days, but now the only way to make any money in porn is some very very bizarre niches that ahhmm most of us don't even want to know how its called :eek:

I dont make much from Porn Ads but another niche that still pays well is Cell Phone plans. A reputable company like Tmiwireless still pays me checks every month. I wanted to start an Adwords program promoting this CPA program but the cost was too high...

I think the main thing is the convertion rate and the average sale. If someone pays 35-45% for the product which converts badly or which costs $1 - there is no good in this commission. So there are many 'pros and cons' each program, there is no ideal one and you must take a lot of thing into account, not only commission.

From the 3, I only go with Gambling. I do that since 2001, and it has been good. Really honest people, and good affiliate managers. No shady at all.
And I don't care that 1 or 2 countries don't like it.
In Europe, some of those companies are even in Stock Exchanges.

I agree with Affiliate7, gambling brings nice money and is better than porn from a moral point a view, plus in porn the competition is big... i my-self started as an affiliate about 4 years ago... now I'm an affiliate manager at MuchPoker.
