What has been the longest stay in the Sandbox that you guys had to endure? I have two sites that still stuck in it after 7 arduous months.

8 months, could it be something more than sandbox? I rank high for all in anchor, some small crappy terms are fine, anything big is nowhere...

I did a lot of link building at the start of the campaign so I reckon it pushed me further in.

My site has been in it for 8 months, and I still can't see a little hope to get it out. Actually I don't think it's sandbox, must be something about the site that Google hates, and it will stay at 4xx no matter how many links I build.

a year to the day.

OMG

Methinks it is getting exponentially longer (sort of) the further it gets from its initial implementation. It seems like it anywho.

Well I've only ever had one site in the sandbox, and that's till in it 6 months after the site was first posted. No 1 on MSN/Yahoo too, stupid Google :D

10 months and counting. Only ranking on obscure KWs. I have some #1 slot in the allins, but nowhere at all in the SERPs.

Doing great in MSN and was great in Y until last week.

Too long. Show me the free traffic, Google!

Just kidding. It has been 10 months since G first found my site, but any traffic I get from them would be free so I can't really demand anything.

And fortunately I have some nice links that convert way better than my SERP traffic.

It seems that 8-9 months is the norm at the moment. I also have a site started back in August that isn't showing anywhere on Google yet despite being totally cached and having PR. It's ranked in the top 5 for about 8-10 keyword terms in both MSN and Yahoo so I'm expecting to pull some pretty good rankings once it escapes.

One of my sites was sandboxed for about 11 months, geting a few hundred pageviews a day. Now with it finally out of the sandbox it get's about 4,500 pageviews a day.

Not clear on the definition of the sandbox, but google has 143 of my pages indexed. MSN has around 10k, peaked at 19k. Yahoo has about 1500, but I saw it peak for a day at 9000. Google doesn't even crawl me... maybe a handful of pages every week. I REALLY wish they would give me a good thorough crawl so I could get up to an MSN level index.

Google got stuck on a phpbb SID and crawled the forum index 6000 times. Since then... it barely crawls me. Is it possible it nailed me for duplicate content and is now penalizing me? :(

It seems there is a lot to be said for buying an old site and bypassing the sandbox altogether.
I've got 3 sites sandboxed at the moment, 8 months for the longest, although I had a client site last year that stayed there for 13 months. I think it was because she went at the link building process with a purpose. It meant she was penalised at first, but once those links matured and she came out of the sandbox she started doing very well from Google.

I've been in now for 8 months on my oldest promoted site. All of mine are in the box except for my personal home page site :/

Im actually starting to get hits from Google now, about 1/3 that of MSN... Yahoo isn't sending anybody though :/

I have a site that has been sandboxed for 1 year and 7 months ... the site is top 10 in Yahoo and MSN. How annoying is that!

10 months is my highest. Right now I'm researching for a cure, I'm in the <180 since the 4th of November with a new site
