Since when?

I thought when you placed a link on their site it would be click-able.

They disable the clickable link for the new member. The link will be clickable once you reach level 2

If you are a new user, your link will never display. You should attain second level to get your links displayed as a link.

What are the requirements for level 2? I could not locate them...

They changed their policies a few months back because of all the spammers. They ended up making links posted by Level 1 users non-clickable since most spammers are Level 1 and are usually banned by the time they get to Level 2. Reach Level 2 and people can click links you posted.
