Hi,

I've recently registered a domain and just found out it was originally registered in 2004 (using wayback machine).

What's the best way of finding out the history of the domain (when it expired etc).

Also, will this be classed as an aged domain as far as the search engines are concerned, or does the aging process restart after each new registration.

Thanks.

The only way I know of is using historical whois records:

http://domain-history.domaintools.com/

I think you have to pay to view any useful information there, although the free sneak preview may give you enough information to go from :)
