Search positions are all down now. I think Yahoo Just jumped over to MSFT's search algorithm!! This really sucks. My domains were ranking so well with Yahoo too. Sucks on MSFt's ranking.

Anyone else see this crapola happenning to their domains??

Well for me it a good thing bing has been passing google on my 4 sites since june and these past few days even yahoo has passed google in searches for my sites not by much but it has passed google. Maybe now google is loosing it's throne more and more each day

Nobody is jumping anywhere until the deal is blessed by antitrust authorities and that not happening for months. So relax - it's just pissed off Y! engineers who are being laid off deleting your sites.

Not so soon! Your site has gone down by solely Yahoo algorithm;)

I guess I'm not alone here as it seem Yahoo are going mad.
I'm on the first page in google (bottom of it, to be fair) and yahoo, bing and google were moving me up pretty much the same way and I managed to get to page 2 in yahoo. But then I submitted to yahoo directory, got accepted and my website dropped to page 7, two more weeks and now my website on page 9. What the hell is that?
Even bing moved me to page 2 and google page 1 but Yahoo's position is plummeting? I can't believe it's because of yahoo directory as that would be nonsense.
Any ideas?

I'm gonna miss Yahoo's site explorer, lol. Wonder when I'll see results from bing, so far, I've only had one site dominating a search term on bing.

I haven't noticed anything on Yahoo yet. It seems to me that Yahoo rankings have improved, while Bing rankings were high initially and now beginning to drop a little. Either way, nothing has changed on my rankings in Yahoo.

I got much more traffic from Yahoo!..

On the first days of Bing I got tons of traffic (But it was probably fake) as it dropped by 90%!..

Anyway, Bad move to Yahoo! ;)

I'm not holding my breath for the new changes. I'd finally gotten to the top of Yahoo, and in a few months I'm at the mercy of MSN (Bing).

Fortunately -- nearly 80% of the searches in my area are thru Google, so the changes won't really affect me more than 10% in either direction.

just seems to me all the major search engines have been pretty screwy the past few days.

I hope it goes through so my website will rank better, bing and google treat me much better that yahoo, even though I use yahoo as my home page.

Nothing has happened yet. Yahoo is still using its own search engine. Something else must be the matter. :(

they won't start using until at least 2010.

they won't start by 2010 is what everyone says but has anyone noticed that the layout of the search results has already changed? this is the beginning of the change... it will be completed by 2010 and then for the next ten years that is how it will be... plus i was using sitematch and ranked well but now rank very bad since 4th of august...

The change of the layout might be because of the change of home page. They changed their home page completely.

They're trying to attempt to take over Google. They won't be integrated with Bing until 2010, so it could be that they could have removed you or you're ranking down. I know I've been hit hard with Bing and Yahoo as well.

Yahoo haven't use Bing's result yet. So your downward rankings are not the effect of Bing and you need to figure out some other reasons.

So the change in algorithm hasn't taken place yet?
