What do you guys think about the new Yahoo! design? (the m.www.yahoo.com, now it actually gives you a link to preview on the top)

I personally think its a huge mistake, the purple should have never been there they should have stuck to red. The search results are choppy, left column screws up the whole "easy on eyes"

I personally like Google best. I don't know if it always would be like that, but for now google is the best in my opinion. Best look too.

Seems all that they (yahoo) can only ever do is redesign the site. They must think that eventualy people will prefer them to G because of their design?

MSN seems to think the same way...lol.

About Yahoo's redesigning of their site is not a good one for me. I preffer the old Yahoo. Though what they did (redesigning their site), is a good move, meaning their still thinking of ways on how to make their site even more attractive.

But I will always preffer Google's sleek and simple Search Page. It's more proffesional looking and faster search pages loading.

No offense on Yahoo's camp, just sharing my opinion. :)

The new design looks better. The thing which I miss in Google is that you can not get news on front page, whereas if you are using Yahoo, you get the latest news daily on the front page. Yahoo page is much better with new design.

Not that big of a deal IMO.

I like Yahoo though, but I also like Google and Bing... I like them all for different reasons I guess.

Eventually Yahoo! will also probably rebuild their homepage to something minimalistic like Google.
It already sounded like the best option to me but now that Microsoft has made a clear choice for this with Bing, I am very sure yahoo will follow.

maybe this new pact of Microsoft and Yahoo! will force Yahoo! to redesign... again.

I hate it. It's like they are trying too much for their applications to be a RIA, but ends up overdoing it ;(

These alexa stats show that more ppl actually use the search.yahoo.com entrance.. brilliant

Where people go on Yahoo.com:

* 43.1% mail.yahoo.com
* 10.5% search.yahoo.com
* 8.6% yahoo.com
* 3.0% news.yahoo.com
* 2.4% 360.yahoo.com
