Yahoo combines with Microsoft against Google

Yahoo and Microsoft announce a pack wednesday to join forces against Google in search. Google controls 70% of world wide search. Will this union work? Or will it lead to a divorce?

yeah this union will work hard, this deal is don't to break monopoly of google . i think it is bad news for google.

I'll put my money on a divorce, unless Bing improves its Search Engine market stake and YPN goes internatoinal. :D

I think now Google will need to think about user friendly services and also to start other advance services as well to maintain the monopoly..

I don't think it will have any negative consequences for google. I hope they keep yahoo and bing separate. Bing dislikes me, yahoo has me as number one.

I think in other way ,google will try to escape , adapt or buy more company ,tuning the search results , which is already better , to become even better , hard jobs for M$ and Y.

I have doubt on this new alliance as it is made up only to finish monopoly of Google..so it may not be continue for longer, and google has a lot of tool and products..so fight will be tough lets see..

google has and will always be a favourite for me. Even if I am not getting any rankings there but i get what I want exactly from google and this is not a case with yahoo

Nothing will going to affect Google as it is on the top and be there only in future due to it user friendly and easy to access nature with the exact result for any query.:)

Yahoo Will depends for searching result on MSN
and
MSN will depend for Advertisement on Yahoo. Now want to see what google do.....

Yes, it is better for both yahoo and microsoft to take over more search engine market. And they have more money to invested on search engine
