Google Analytic is not tracking any visitors.
I am useing a wordpress theme and I tried to install Google analytic via the plugin but it wouldnt sync up ( would get caution sign saying not tracking) so i

I tried inserting the code on my own in the footer and still no luck

i put the code in my header, now google has a green check mark, meaning it should be working..but still no stats...what do i do?

It takes a little while for the analytics to start tracking, so you will need to be patient. I would give it a full day before making any more tweaks...

There is a delay with Google Analytics. In fact, that's one of the reasons I started using Statcounter. Anyway, I'd recommend giving it a day or two (one time it took about three days for my stats to start showing up with Google Analytics!), and then contact them if nothing shows up. At the very least, it should be showing your own visits to check the site anyway.

yah its frustrating, im going to wait anothe day and then either call...or check out alternatives..thanks for you help guys, this place rocks

Yes i m not getting the correct data from it. In adsense account show 300 page view in analytic account show much less then that.

first off im jel of your page views, i hope you have had ur site up for longer than me!:)


to answer your question, to the best of my knowlege , and please some one correct me if im wrong, but adsense is updated faster than anylitics? perhapes thats the issue?
