Yahoo is one of the best search engines after Google, so it is very important to ensure that Yahoo is giving your site a good rank, because a site that is well optimized for Yahoo will also rank well in other search engines.

There are a few differences between Yahoo and other search engines such as Google. It looks that Yahoo places more value on number of back links than the content from the page, so, an established site with a lot of incoming links, getting a good ranking on Yahoo can come naturally.

Yes, each search engine ranks the website differently, you may be on top on Google, but not Yahoo. It's better to have content to have visitors come back to your site.

I agree that Yahoo does care more about overall link volume compared to Google. You can do well on Yahoo with a large amount of low quality links. You don't necessarily need the high quality links that you need for Google rankings.

nothing spesial I think .. it comes naturally .. for the compare between yahoo and google im using twingine it helps a lot :D

Each search engine has it's criteria so it may possible that in one search engine you are on top and in other you may be no where.

SEO works for all search engines.

I keep optimized my site by using common SEO rules and finally my site at the top rank of Google, Yahoo and Bing.

Just concentrate on optimizing your site. Don't bother for which search engine you are working for. You will see all the results soon

For optimizing for yahoo and BING, backlink is very important. However they index sites at a much slower rate but they give plenty of traffic.

I think this also do in google.. and at last google create page rank.. and yahoo create their web rank.. which relativity should we get then :confused:

Yeah, agree backlinks are very important for well ranking in search engines and should be quality one.

With the new MSN/Yahoo deal optimizing for yahoo is dead. Yahoo will use Bing search algo for its results.
