Hey guys, I realize today that the traffic I get from Yahoo is about 30% of the traffic I get from Google. Is that normal?

Very few people do but the fact of the matter is that you tend to get a higher exposure rate from yahoo as compared to google :/

Google - @ 55% of my main forums total traffic
Yahoo - @ 10% - 15% of my main forums total traffic
But, the traffic from yahoo has a 20% lower bounce rate then google traffic. Google might send my site more traffic, but the traffic from yahoo is more targeted and more likely to view more pages.

absolutely normal. Google has the 70% of the search market while yahoo is dropping... So it makes sense to get more traffic from google.

If you speak with hundreds of webmasters you will get contrasting ideas. For some, Yahoo might bring even better results than Google in terms of traffic and page views.
Exact numbers might be difficult to come up with but as stated already Google has more traffic share then Yahoo.

You'll get mixed anomalies from all over the web, the main reason for which is that each webmaster has his/her own opinion, personally i love Google for the large volume of traffic being sent from them, but I adore Yahoo for giving me longer exposures and more conversion then Google does :)

I get about 65% from Google and the rest is spread between Yahoo, MSN and Ask.com. I don't know why Ask is so low, maybe because the searches are really bad and irrelevent.
