Take it easy. Link building should be a gradual process. If you have good content people will like to it.

Hi friend,

Link Exchange & Directory Submission both are better Techniques, but it's taking aproximatly two to three weeks for showing our results in google.

If you want top result early like in a ONE week, You can use Articles submission and Social Bookmarking Techniques.

Yes man, For me too directory submission is total time wasting.... It is hard to get approval.
However, Social bookmarkings, Blog commentings, Forums postings and article submissions really works well.

If you are going to spend time posting comments on blogs I would make sure they they are Dofollow so you are actually getting some PR juice back, I usually view page source to check.

Make sure you don't build your links too fast, do it gradually so that it appears natural for search engines.

I copy your opinion. In addition, I would like to mention that blog commenting on blogs that are nofollow will not contribute anything towards PR, maybe you get backlinks. But anywyas, why do you want backlinks, for PR offcourse. So blog commenting on High PR blogs with high degree of relevancy with your niche will surely help bringing in good traffic. Not if you are blindly posting on any blog that comes your way. Dofollow blog posting will help in link building and PR calculation. Dofollow forum posting that allow sig links is always the best way to build links and gain pagerank.

Hello,
Everyone will say forum posting and SB is the easiest way for link building. You can post your link to social bookmarking website, local classified directories. Post your link to Social Network Site that will also generate traffic for your website.

I find blog comments to not get accepted half - well a lot more than half - the time - especially if I am leaving my name as 'double glazing manchester' or something like that, I just think the blog owner is thinking SPAM! I am concentrating on article submissions these days and buying in a few links if i have to.

Posting on blogs and forums, writing articles, and social bookmarking all help a bit. These can give you a high quantity of links. If you want quality links, however, you will likely need to email website owners who have quality sites that are relevant to yours. You can then try to negotiate for a link (unpaid of course), offer them something they might want (your first unborn son), or exchange links with them (they'll likely ignore you if your page rank is lower than theirs). Acquiring links can be a very dreary and tiresome sport.

Always remember that a link is only as good as the web page it's on. For example, check out the google page rank of this page. It has none. In other words, this page is not very important to google. I would likely need a thousand links from a page like this to equal one quality link for a high page ranked site.

Seems that some methods are not as effective as others. Using directories are near to useless in my opinion. It's only worth using the best and most recognized directories all the rest are just not worth your time.

Article submissions on the other hand works really well, but it can be a lot of work.

Everybody keeps saying "article submissions".

Hey, I'm all for articles. I've written and submitted over 20 this past year (each to at least 3 of the top article sites). Some of these articles are now published on dozens of different sites.

However, you can get a lot more benefit from quality link exchanges. Quality link exchanges can send you more PR juice and way more daily visitors than any article.

One good directory alone now sends me over 60 new visitors a day. This is more visitors than all my articles send me in a month. As for PR, take a look at the page rank of the pages where your articles are located. A page can't send you page rank if doesn't have any to give.
