Hello.. What I have been doing was submit similar articles to different directories.. This method is okay but based on what I have read in other threads, if you are aiming for backlinks, google would not index the duplicate articles.. Only the original.. But if you are aiming for traffic, then you don't need to rewrite your article all over again.. Oh, and also, there are few sites that want articles to be original or rewritten.. Hence, your purpose would determine what you should really do with your articles..

you can get more benefit by spinning the article and changing titles, dup content on other sites will not hurt your site but they get deindexed fast

correct. You can submit the same old same old article to hundreds of sites if you like, but you'll be wasting your time. It's not hard to put an article into jet spinner format. You can even do it automatically nowadays.

Hi,

It does matters. I mean one can get juicy and unique links by submitting different article to different directories, provided that its not duplicate and a unique article.

This does not implies that submitting a single article is not recommended. If the quality of the article is unique and copyspace pass then you may opt for it.

The only drawback of submitting spinned articles is that as the number increases quality depreciates.

I don't see any problem with article submission to different article directories with the same article. Your site would not be affected because you're not the owner of article directories.
