Trackback means you can also go for the url provided in the list if the given link is not working properly.Link back it is the backlink to your site.

here is a quick layman's idea:)
When someone links to your blog post, blogging software like Wordpress automatically notifies you that somone has linked to your post. It is called trackback/pingback. So if you see a trackback awiting for approval, that means the page has a linkback to you;)
