I see some people looking domain names that is older than couple of months? yet, the domain has no google rank or backlink.

why is that??

Also, what is good if you buy "only domain name" with PR?? thx

Makes it easy to sell on, if the buyer thinks the site is older than it is.

Search engines like google do not trust new sites. I think it is because of all of the spam that is going on. After a site is established, it receives a better reputation and is indexed faster in the search engines.

Older sites are more easily perceived as authority sites, the older they get, the better it is for google.
