Hi all,

I've been playing around with a new site and currently trying to sort out a template.

I want to keep it clean looking, while remaining processional and making it look lively......so its been hard to keep it all in check.

Anyway its a dating site aimed at the UK market ( i know there lots about, but i'm planning on a fairly large promotion and advertising campaign so fingers crossed)

Just looking for a few points of view on the layout and colour scheme.

UK Love Connections (http://www.ukloveconnections.com/)

Thanks guys and gals

Neat and tidy, but perhaps a little bit too neat and tidy for me!!!!

Depends what you're after, certainly professional looking, but not 'different' in any way - doesn't stand out from the pack (but perhaps that's what you're after?).

Just my 2p

Hi Bochgoch,

Thanks for the 2pence worth, i have to agree that it doesn't stand out that much. I did have alot more colour through it (reds and yellows) but i just thought it was too much.

I've going to change the main header image along with the second image below it (going to stay away from the group photo and go for couples i think). So I'll see if that makes a difference.

Thanks again

Could use a little bit more color. Since it is UK Love Connections - maybe colors of the Union Jack?
Just my 2 cents.

Yeah was thinking the same thing about trying to incorporate something to identify its a UK site, i did think about the Union Jack flag or even a map of the UK but i'm not sure.

it looks very nice to me. I cannot point at anything which doesn't looks good.

Look great to me. You might have to resize the "Newest Members" box. Quite odd thou = )

Hi er1cw,

Thanks, the "Newest Members" box will fill up with the most recent 10 members as they register. So no point in resizing it.

Cheers everyone.
