Other than joining content or promotion, i dont think there a way to get a domain beside spending money to buy one unless u want free domain

I agree...I use namecheap.com for several domains and haven't had a problem yet. With a coupon code I believe it costs $8.81 for a year.

open an account in any registrar like godaddy name.com namecheap etc ( you can use credit card if u have or just look few indian registrar who accept cash in INR ) then search the domain name , if it available register it :)

then buy a web hosting and develop it and make money :p

Very easy to use with super fine support system.Read their FAQ.You will know a lot of things.
